Dr. Lipcan received his undergraduate degree from Vassar College and medical degree from the University of Connecticut. He completed his residency and internship in Internal Medicine at Boston University and fellowship in Gastroenterology and Hepatology at Thomas Jefferson University.
A native of Connecticut, Dr. Lipcan joined Connecticut Gastroenterology Consultants in 2005 where he pursues his clinical interests including the evaluation and management of GI bleeding, GI malignancies (focusing on colon cancer), celiac disease and liver disease (focusing on hepatitis C infection).
Dr. Lipcan maintains Board Certification in Gastroenterology and is active in the American College of Gastroenterology and the American Gastroenterological Association. He provides inpatient consultation services at the Yale New Haven Hospital and the Yale-St Raphael Hospital Campus. He sees office patient in the New Haven and Guilford offices.
