Our Physicians care for patients with a wide variety of disorders of the digestive tract and liver. These include problems related to the esophagus, stomach, small intestine, colon, pancreas, as well as liver and bile ducts. Specifically, we are often asked to diagnose and treat patients with the following disorders:
- gastroesophageal reflux
- peptic ulcer disease
- small bowel malabsorption
- ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease
- colonic polyps and colon cancer screening
- gallstones and abnormalities of the bile ducts and pancreatic duct
- pancreatitis and pancreatic cancer
- chronic viral hepatitis B and C
- cirrhosis of the liver with consultation and referral for liver transplantation
We also offer and provide diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures to compliment our consultative services. These include:
- diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy of the upper gastrointestinal tract
- diagnostic and therapeutic ERCP and EUS
- diagnostic and therapeutic colonoscopy
- liver biopsy and interpretation
We offer the above consultative services in an outpatient setting in our main office and satellite offices, as well as diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy in ambulatory endoscopy settings nearby each of our four offices. We provide inpatient services at the Yale New Haven Hospital, Hospital of St. Raphael, and the Milford hospital.
